Tax Resources & FAQ

Common questions answered by our tax professionals.

When is the tax filing deadline?
The federal tax filing deadline for 2025 returns is April 15, 2026. If you need more time, we can file an extension giving you until October 15, 2026. Ohio state returns follow the same deadline.
What documents do I need to bring?
W-2s from all employers, 1099 forms (freelance, interest, dividends, retirement), mortgage interest statement (1098), property tax receipts, charitable donation receipts, health insurance forms (1095-A/B/C), and a copy of your prior year return.
What is the standard deduction for 2025?
For tax year 2025: $15,000 for single filers, $30,000 for married filing jointly, and $22,500 for head of household. If your itemized deductions exceed these amounts, we'll itemize instead.
How long does it take to prepare my return?
Simple individual returns are typically completed within 3-5 business days. Business returns and complex individual returns may take 1-2 weeks. Rush service is available during off-season.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We accept payment at time of filing, or you can deduct our fee from your refund. For business clients, we offer monthly billing. We accept cash, check, credit card, and ACH.
Can I upload my documents online?
Yes! Use our secure Client Portal to upload W-2s, 1099s, and other documents from your phone or computer. Documents are encrypted and classified automatically.
